Camera Ready Guide for Horse and Rider
1. Grooming: Ensure your horse is well-groomed, including a recent bath, braided mane and tail (if desired), and trimmed hooves. Don't forget details such as fly spray!
2. Health and Wellness: Make sure your horse is up-to-date on vaccinations and is feeling healthy and relaxed!
3. Equipment: Bring necessary equipment, such as saddles, bridles, and halters, in good condition and matching your desired aesthetic.
4. Attire: Choose attire that fits your riding style and the theme of the photoshoot (e.g., formal, casual, Western, or English).
5. Hair and Makeup: Style your hair and apply makeup that will compliment your photos, try to avoid heavy makeup and opt for makeup that enhances, not distracts, from you!
6. Communicate with Your Photographer: Discuss your expectations and any specific shots you want beforehand. Share your interests or hobbies to help the photographer bring out your personality in the photos.
7. Location Scouting: Scout the location beforehand to ensure it's safe and suitable for your horse.
8. Weather Preparation: Check the weather forecast and plan accordingly (e.g., bring sunscreen, rain gear).
